We appreciate BSD’s recognition of the need to pause the Facilities Committee to allow time for a better process that includes community engagement. Now, our work continues!
BSD’s vision is to have an engaged and informed community, and we are proud of our Raleigh Park community, which embodies that value. We much prefer this article over the one last week.
Since this is the beginning of the conversation with our community about community schools, we encourage you to continue sending your letters to the school board and to attend the next school board meeting. The ParentSquare post yesterday indicates our School Board will help determine the process. The school board is elected to represent us, and they should be value our input. If you are attending any committee meeting and are wondering if others are also attending, feel free to ask a PTO member. We may be able to connect you.
Thank you for your continued support of strong Beaverton schools!
Your PTO Board
P.S. This Friday is the JogAThon assembly where Mr. Mori is graciously getting pied in the face not once, but twice!
