Volunteer Needs
Volunteering is an excellent way to learn more about Raleigh Park Elementary and to get to know the teachers, staff, and other parents. Now that volunteers are welcome back in the school, we are in re-build mode! We’re looking for parents (or grandparents!) who can help take a leadership role with restarting programs and activities. Beaverton School District requires all volunteers to have a current background check and register in the Beaverton School District Volunteer Management System.
All volunteers need to complete a profile in that system before volunteering; background checks are MANDATORY and automatically conducted every two years. Even if you won’t be volunteering on a regular basis, it is a good idea to have this completed at the beginning of the year, so if you decide to volunteer for a class field trip or party, you are cleared and ready to go. You will be asked to reauthorize a background check every two years during your birthday month. The district will reach out via email.

You need to be cleared by the BSD to volunteer. Here's a handy video of how to update your info. Whether you can volunteer 1 hour or 100 hours, we appreciate any time you give. Your contributions help shape the Raleigh Park community!
