All of the funds raised go to support school programs funded by the PTO.
Come dink around on the court and learn the basics of pickleball in a fun, no-pressure class. I'll cover basic rules, how to serve & volley, how to keep score, and some basic strategy. After practicing serving and volleying, class members will be divided into foursomes and play a game. By the end, you'll understand why it's the fastest-growing sport in the US!

We will share lots of solutions for thriving, resilient kids, ideally to start in grade school. Our solutions will be towards less screens, more health/growth, more learning, more play/free time, and more hearty. Learn how we, as a community, can push back on screens and helicopter culture (parenting) to create space to allow focus on what matters most. In small groups, participants will share, support, and create actionable solutions for home and school to support our families to thrive and our kids to become independent, resilient, connected, self-actualized adults.

Silent Auction for "Embers" (2024), an original watercolor by artist Kavin Buck
Dimensions: 8.5” x 27.5” (image); 15” x 33.5” (matted). Artwork comes matted and ready for framing. Courtesy of the artist and the Elizabeth Leach Gallery
From Kavin’s most recent series of watercolor paintings titled “Lost Highways”, these horizontal landscapes are created in the West Coast style of watercolor painting that began along the Pacific Coast in the late 1960’s and was popularized in the cities like Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Half Moon Bay, and Carmel. Kavin’s paintings depict abstract vistas that balance both romanticism and grit of the Pacific Northwest region as well as speaking to the beauty of the unembellished vastness of the region.
Watercolor and signed book is valued at $1100. Place your winning bid at the Parent Party and take home this beauty!
