Be a Tiger Hero!

The PTO provides grade level funds that fund field trips, extra curriculum, and unrestricted discretionary funds (for things like celebrations). This year, some of the things we supported included field trips to release Salmon, purchase recorders and xylophones, and a school-wide license for Mystery Science.

Title 1 is a federal education program / designation that supports low-income students throughout the nation. This means that 40% of our community's children qualify for free or reduced school lunch.

Project BACK (Backpack Assistance and Care for our Kids) is a program where backpacks full of food sent home with children every weekend and holiday. The program currently supports 22 families! The RP PTO funds all of the food, St Matthew Lutheran shops and packs the backpacks, and then RP volunteers discreetly distribute the backpacks each week.

Project SNACK provides a healthy snack option to any student at RP who needs it.

Art Literature, the School Play, the School Garden, and Oregon Battle of the Books are among the extra things that our fundraising covers. We also love to support and show our appreciation to the RP staff.
